Google Calendar has two new shortcut features that make it
easy to schedule new events or meetings. You just have to type
"cal.new" or "meeting.new" into Google Chrome for your
event creation page. No longer have to manage the calendar or fiddle around with
other settings.
The best part: Multiple accounts can use such shortcuts. If
you're signed into several Google Chrome accounts and want to schedule
something on more than one profile, all you need to do is add a number to the
shortcut end that matches the account you want to save the activity to. For eg,
"cal.new/1/" or "meeting.new/1/1" Saves to the
Chrome-synced first account, "cal.new/2/" saves it to the second, and
so on. This works without having to switch accounts in Chrome settings.
Google published a.new updates tweet:
"We've got some .new(s) for you: You can now create a new event right from your browser" ↓

This should make organizing and handling your Google Calendar
activities much more uncomplicated. Different shortcuts still exist for lots of
other Google apps, including Google Docs, Slides, and more, and we'll round
them up in a future post.
